Can I use the downpipe from my 4" MBRP exhaust for the HTB2 turbo or do I have to get a new downpipe?

 

No, the stock turbo has a 3" outlet, the MBRP goes from 3" to 4" about 4" down the pipe. I ordered a 4" downpipe from High Tech Turbos, it was spendy though (180.00). I guess a guy could cut off the 3" piece and add a piece of 4", only problem being you would need a 4' coupler for the turbo.

Yep. Make sure you get the right vband clamp. They make two different ones in 4", for some stupid reason. The one I have leaks a little bit so it must be the other width I need.

 

WHen I bought my HTB2 from HTT, I also got their 4" downpipe (HX40). Fit excellent, came with the clamp.

 

anyone who's switched turbos have an old HX-40 DP they want to part with??

 

I had to buy one too. It is at home awaiting my return...
