Do your 315's rub with 16X8's and a 2" spacer?

I beg to differ with you .
I think if you look up the specs on that tire size you will see a a 9.5"-10" rim is recommended. An 8" rim pulls the side walls in too far, Causeing center bulge and center wear on the tire. This is a fact from experience.
Sorry to hurt your feelings.
I recommend you running the proper size tires on the proper size rims. You do what ever you want. Spend $200- $250+ apiece on tires and run them on the incorrect size rims is your privelage. Run those 35x12.50x16 tires on 8" wide rims and observer how they wear out.
And you are the one that mentioned useing wheel spacers. Enough said.

They rub the back of the fender at full lock a hair, but only when the truck is flexed a little. Put it this way I've taken my truck off road and put it through the paces with my front and rear sway bars disconnected and I didn't rip my fender wells out nor did I ever come close to rubbing the control arms.

Why don't you tell us what Toyo recommends: Toyo Tires - Open Country M/T
My truck had 315/75R16s on 8" rims on it when I bought it and while the tires were worn out, they were worn evenly. They have been replaced with a set of Toyo Open Country M/Ts of the same size. And I have run 35x12.5 tires on 8" rims on various rigs in the past with similar results. So MY experience is contrary to your own. Perhaps you just like to run around with overinflated tires. Sorry to hurt your feelings.
Not only that, but there are probably literally millions of offroaders running 35x12.5 tires on 8" rims without undue wear or any other ill effects. The narrower rim is more protected and less likely to suffer damage to the bead area, too. The looking too cheap comment was just sheer ignorance.

On my 2000 the tires rub at a little past 1.75 turns, usually its enough for me to get away with it. Once in a while I will get caught and have to back up or something, not a big deal.
Where can you get these 2" spacers anyway? I just put fender flares on, and a 2" spacer would fill it up nice.

Agreed! I am running 315's up front on my stock wheels temporarly, while I save up some coin for new 35/18's.( lost mine in my wreck
) What a pain in the Edit. I have to park at the back of any parking lot just to be able to pull out of a parking space. That rub is worse than nails on a chalkboard. I dont recomend it. Ive had no prob. in the past with my 35/12.5/18's tho.

Personally, I prefer running a 35" tire on an 8" rim when off roading. When you air down, the narrower rim helps to keep the beads tight at low air situations. Plus the added benefit of an even wider footprint
