I've got the spacers coming, but I'm worried about my new 315's rubbing. What kind of results have you guys had?

it really depends on your back spacing if you are going to rub . i have ran two different 16x8 set ups one rubbed and one didnt . i dont remember the back spacing numbers .

my 315 on stock 16x8's rub like <edit for language> on my truck when making any turns that require more than about 75% towards full lock (if that makes sense)

Not 315's, but my 35" tall, 11.5" wide tires don't rub at all...but they are close!

315/75/16's (on stock aluminum 8" wheels) rub at full wheel turn....with the 2" front leveling kit.
Full is 1.75 rotations of the steering wheel (on my 02). I can go 1.5 rotations with no trouble!
Not a big problem and it's easy to remember that! And if you don't.... the tires will remind you

Agreed! I am running 315's up front on my stock wheels temporarly, while I save up some coin for new 35/18's.( lost mine in my wreck ) What a pain in the <edit for language>. I have to park at the back of any parking lot just to be able to pull out of a parking space. That rub is worse than nails on a chalkboard. I dont recomend it. Ive had no prob. in the past with my 35/12.5/18's tho.

I have 315/75/16 BFG MTs they did rub until I trimed the front fenders back about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Now there is no rubbing full lock to lock at full articulation (Rear tire off ground). Oh this is with a 16X10 Wled Racing Rim

315/75/16(35x2.5X16) tires should go on 10" wide rims or they look stupid on 8" wides . <edit to remove personal attack>

The Previous owner of my truck put 305/70/16 (33X12.5X16) on 16x8 058 Eagles and they need to be on 16x10 also

Really???

Maybe he wants narrow wheels for a good reason. 10" wide wheels stick out too far and throw road debris and other <edit for language> all over the side of the truck.

Realy?? Thats a good one . Those size tires (315/75/16)(same as 35x12.50X16) are going to "stick out way far and throw road debris and other crap all over the side of his truck" anyway on 8" rims. 10 " rims are going to be offset equaly on inside and outside compared to the same rim in 8". They just fit the tire properly.

No, not with aftermarket wheels

I have Ion 16x8s with 4.25" backspacing and they dont rub

When I had the stock forged 16x8 wheels, they rubbed on the lower control arm at full lock, only on one side somehow?

What width are the 03 and up factory rims ??? , I find the 315s look more square on those rims compared to the buldge on the 02 and down factory rims have , I believe the 02 and downs are 8 inch wide. Anyone else notice this.

Really helpful FYI a 315 fits fine and DOES spec out on a eight inch wheel. I didn't ask if it would look stupid. I didn't ask anything about 10 inch wheels. And last but not least, I did not ask you to give some ignorant speculation of my financial situation. People like you are reason that sites like these are going to crap.
