I used some Dupli-color one time on a floor in a truck. Its was sanded well before application. Its now peeling all over, thin materal after many coats, not much grip. I think i would have been better off using tar. I would try another brand, if your expecting a nice product, youll probly end up taking it to a spay-on place.

Good Luck- Jake

I did the Herculiner in my Second Gen. It seemed to hold up well. Pm me if you have any more specific questions.

well i have a line-x bedliner. i was looking to see a good DIY bedliner because i am going to do the bottoms of the door and bed, from the molding down. why?...because going down gravel roads and off roading, my tires have kick up enough stuff to chip my paint BAD. so i was going to do the bottom in black bed liner and it would protect it and it shouldn't look that bad since i have a black truck. how much is the herculiner and were should i be able to get it?

Tried duplicolor on the inside of my Ramcharger, it has been peeling almost since day one.

Dupli-Color has worked very well for me after I learned how to apply it. The trick with that stuff seems to be two-fold. First, the surface MUST be taken to steel. Second, a gun specifically designed for the purpose of spraying bed liner MUST be used. If you try to cut that stuff to get it flow through a regular paint gun or use to high a pressure. It's about a as worthless as two, well you know the rest.

I had my rockers Line-X'd. There are pictures in my gallery. I would recommend The Line-X over the Herculiner. The Line-X is definitely sturdier. It will cost you a minimum of 100. For the Herculiner kit. Try www.herculiner.com

When I bought my truck I told dealer. I wouldn't take delivery unless they installed line-x to it. 70000miles no fading or peeling. I had a small block chev. engine roll around the back with no problems. couple of chips and gouges is about it. great stuff. well worth the price.

I bought some rattleguard off of ebay, just do a search for spray bed liner, and there is another one called extreem liner. it seems like a good product, comes with about 5 different things to mix together, plus the spray gun, I should be spraying it on in a week or two.
oh and you can get it in colors too!

i bought some herculiner yesterday so i will be using that to do my rockers. i've heard it was the best DIY, and it'll be cheaper than getting someone else to do it. i'll try to post pics when i am through. i am doing it next weekend.
