flynhigh205,

I was confused by your post, are you saying you don't want aluminum and would prefer a steel one like stock if it had a drain plug? If so there are companies that sell a bolt in drain plug kit for trannies that should work for you.

If you're simply looking for a drain plug, there was a post a month or two ago of someone that drilled and tapped the bottom of their rear axle/differential casting when doing a fluid change to accomodate a drain plug. It sounded like a simple procedure, and eliminates taking the rear cover off to drain for future changes.

One of these will also work, hard to beat $10 http://www.genosgarage.com/CoastalDa...ID=209&CATID=1

I personally have no problem just removing the cover to rag out the oil that doesn't drain and clean the magnet.

flynhigh205,

That's why I asked you to clarify your question, get the PML covers, way less money and gets you the same cast aluminum performance. Quite a bit smaller in overall diameter and should fit too.
