My buddy has the Edge juice wit attitude.He is constantly getting beat at the strip by a truck with the drag comp. The trucks are set up about identical.Is the comp box doing something more or better than the juice box? Called Edge to ask but got tired of setting on hold forever.

 

Well I talked to edge and asked them and they said no differance, But I have had them both on my truck and i will be running a drag comp. I can feel a pretty big differance.

 

In my experince, the Juice netted more area under the curve on level 5 than the comp did. I have since upgraded my Juice to Hot with a level 6 but I have never ran a drag comp to compare but my understanding is that they are identical tunes. They have made a couple of updates over the past few years so it is possible that a drag comp with an older tune could run a little faster on the bottom end due to less timing advance. The newest tune has the most timing and everyone knows that timing is great for peak HP but not so great out of the hole. But I highly doubt that these microscopic differences would show up at the track. I'll bet the difference is has more to do with different fuel fill ups, different weather conditions, and different trucks.
I wouldn't worry too much though, this new BETA Race Box is "Nasty" and will soon dwarf everything else out there.
