i just got off the phone with advanced diesel and the mad ecm will not take care of the de-fuel, it might help but wont get rid of it. so it looks like the only way is to get the RAD from BD.

What boost numbers do you run with your tuck- what other mods etc?
Just curious.
I have very good experience with launching only at about 7 psi of boost- the turbo will come up nicely and always controllable to keep traction. I do not have billet shafts, and I wouldn't want to ruin my tranny so I keep my boost way down. OTOH I still have to keep my foot out of it until in 2nd gear to avoid fishtailing- any more boost at launch would be useless to me IMHO

max boost i get is about 30 psi. i also have 4" exhaust and propane. the truck will not fishtail at all because the engine will de-fuel and lose power till about 2nd gear. i dont power brake to 20 psi, just standing on the throttle off the line. Gary

it has not been to the track yet.

Sorry for all the (my) misunderstanding!

My truck has never defueled off the line WITHOUT powerbraking. Just assumed you were doing that.

hmm- only 30 # boost sounds a tad low to me. This shouldn't be the reason for your defueling off the line, but with a comp and big injectors I think you should really be up in the 35-40# range.
Maybe this is caused by some other problem you have now and where a good session with the DRB scantool and looking at the output of the sensors could help a bunch.
What EGTs do you run?
