The 1.75's are a custom nozzle, rated at 95hp. Don told me when I got them a while back that they may make 5 or 10 more ponies more than that on a HO motor. I also replied to you PM...

Thanks. So those would probably make just as many ponies as my Jammer IV's ACTUALLY make and run better?! Ya. Though so!

These changes produce better HP, less smoke and lower EGT's, if I correctly remember what Don said.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I really want some of Don's injectors but I don't want to go to 4's and 1.6's seem a little small. I wonder if he has plans to ugrade his other levels.

what about the 7's and 8's? are they track only injectors, could you still get decent mileage if you had proper air?

Depending on what you use your truck for, and what your future plans are. I've had Mach 1.5's, Mach 4's, and now Mach 6+'s. I should have skipped the 1.5's and gone straight to the 4's, but "I just wanted a little more power to tow with".

If you don't tow heavy, I would go with the 4's and turn the box down if the heat gets to high. Personally I like driving with more of the power being made by the injectors, then with the box. Then down the road, put an S400 under your current turbo, and turn the box up. I made 510hp with a turbo similar to yours, and mach 4's. Real toasty though. I went to the set of twins I have now, with the 4's and made 565hp.

P.S. Oh yeah.... It tows really well now!

My truck gets better fuel mileage than stock. I barely pulled 16-18mpg, stock. Today I range from 18-21mpg. You tell just by the smoke that comes out of the trail pipe that Don's injectors are atomizing better than the stock. The only downsize to large injectors is that your oil will get dirty faster than stock. Your bumper will turn from a semi-clean, hazy black to a dark black soot. Mine truck will smoke but there has been times its hard to tell the difference from my old BD injectors that I ran before (220rwhp sized vs 90rwhp). The power is way way up. For most trucks I wouldn't run a injector larger than mach 6er's. The larger injectors idle worse and after a hard 1/4mile blast you might stall at the end. My truck will stall when going from idle to in gear(when started and try to run cold). When warmed up this doesn't happen with any other injector I have ran.

I have mach 6+'s and really haven't noticed any mileage change from the 4's to them. On high altitude hot summer days, the 6+'s are a little smokier then the 4's, off idle, before the boost builds, but that was before I put the cam in, so I'm not sure now. I daily drive my truck with the 6+'s. The 6, 7's, and 8's make awesome power, so make sure you have enough air to handle it. The 8's are designed for nitrous, and if I remember correctly from Don's web site, will actually make slightly less power then the 7's, if nitrous is not used.
