I istalled dual front shocks on my 2001 4x4 3500 today. I ordered the kit from Topguncustomz and the brackets were $140 shipped. I also order 6 new shocks, 4 for the front and 2 for the rear. The brackets arrived in a week but the shocks took a month. They are Rough Country 8000 Nitro's for the frontand 9000 Nitro's for the back. A quick word about topguncustomz is that the customer service is sorry....nothing but trouble in getting my shocks with being told they were in stock and were not and then being told they had shipped several times when they had not.

The dual shock brackets mounted fairly easy with the only issue being brake line clearance but its easily fixed. Once they were on and the shocks did mount right up.....took me 2 hours to the left side and only 45 monutes to do the right side. The real differene in side installation times was I knew what I was doing on the right side as i had already made every mistake possible on the left prior. plus no instructions came with the brackets and I just had to figure it out and TGC said there should have been some with the brackets.

I am running a Reunell front bumper with a Warn 12.5k winch so its a heavy front end. The ride for me was much better with dual shocks than it was with the the single blistein shocks I had. I went out and hit several large bumps and pot holes and I was very pleased.....no more bottoming out the front end.
