DDP 50hp Injectors
Hey guys, I need some advice. I have been really looking around at adding a little more power to my truck. I am not looking for a hot rod. I don't really care if it can do wheelies or blow huge clouds of smoke. In fact, I really don't want it to darken out folks behind me. This thing is my daily driver and I don't plan on any turbo upgrades or anything like that. But, I wouldn't mind having a little more power. So, do any of you have any real world experience with the DDP 50 hp injectors? They have a really good reputation. Any of you running these? Are they smoky? What about egt's? Thanks!

50 HP DDP's
I installed 50 hp ddp's in my motorhome and really like them.
My mpg is up 3/4 mpg in this 23,000+ lb wonder with them over the stock ones.
I ran the boost up to 32 psi and slid the stock slightly modified plate forward .040 and now it climbs hills better than before too!
The only downside is the cost and I got them off a ebay seller with a best offer button and saved $100.

Ive wondered the same thing. When i get around to getting new sticks, im going for some DD 75s and might have to run them with the stock turbo for awhile tell i can upgrade. I think ive heard that if you turn the fuel way down with the pump that you can run the 75s with a stock turbo, but i dont know forsure. I would think it would be alittle warm.

The DDPs 75 hp injectors run nicely with the stock turbo. No need to turn down any fuel. Call DDP and talk to Ross, he was the one that recommended the 75 hp injectors for my trucks. Said they would pull nicely and egts would be controllable. Also my fuel mileage went up between 1.5 to 2 more mpgs when i am empty

I went with the 75hp units when I had the stock turbo, they were great, now that I have the big guy pumping air I wish I would have gone with the 140hp units.
