DDP 50hp injectors or H&S
Was wondering just bought a 2008 6.7 i am in the process of getting everything i need to do a full delete and was wondering if anyone has put the 50hp ddp injectors in with a fooler instead of a H&S programmer. I like the using a mechanical means to get extra horsepower but was looking for some extra opinions. thanks
most of my work was on the 04.5 to 07.4 but they extended duration to keep peak heat down the 50 hp ddp's shortened duration back and gained 2 mpg. i believe the same holds true for the 6.7
just reread your post. you have to use a h&s or smarty jr. on the egr delete be careful, get a kit that has a hose to bypass the coolant. not block it. we made our own but others here will give you a mr.

friend here in town did Don's 50 hp sticks on his 6.7 has a hard time keeping the temps down. stock turbo is too small on the 6.7 trucks for any larger injector. the 6.7 in stock form will spool a 66mm turbo
cbrahs yes you are correct. the 50 hp to us was unwanted. we used them for the mpg gain. if you get a smarty jr instead of the h&s i know what to do. set the jr to economy and max timing i think on 6.7's it is tm4 this gives no fueling and with 50 from nozzles will give you 300* cooler temp than stock i have not fooled with the h&s enough to tell you a equivilent setting
