ddp '4 experience needed. Moving up from 370's

Just wondering if anyone has moved from 370's to ddp 4's and your experience. I ve loved my 370's, (they will probably be forsale) but I just feel like maybe it will be even better with the ddp 4's.

I run a 10 plate full forward with a 4000 gsk and about 60 psi total.

I have a club member who has a 96 5spd truck which ran 370's and he switched last year to the DDP 4's.Proir to his switch the best dyno rip he had was just short of 400hp to the ground. His switch to the DDP injectors netted him his 400 at 423hp to the rear wheels. He gained about 30hp with just the injector change........Andy

Did he comment on idle, smoke, or egt's? I assume that if I want they will pour the coal so to speak, still. Actually a lot of wanted smake is a good thing. Like lugging it in 6th with someone right behind me.

I hope I can go to 600+ without meth.

Idle was smooth from what I heard of it while it ran in the dyno bay.Smoke was controlable and it still rolled coal when it needed to.When I asked him he felt they didn't haze as much as the 370's.I didn't really ask about egts with them.

With knowing what you have in your truck already you should be way over 600 now without the aid of the DDP 4's.The 370's will also support the number and need a tad more respect then they get at times.Guys have made big power with them for years......Andy

TeddyBear's truck has DDP 4's and it idles smooth as butter. It does haze at idle, but it is very driveable.

that it would be an easy 60-70 horse upgrade....over 370s.. Something seems wrong to me there...

I love mine...no idle haze, and I have no problem making 380hp with them I had other problems with the power generation department

I upgraded and noticed lower EGT's and cleaner/smoother idle. Not a huge jump in the power dept. but im happy with them going on a year and a half now.

I don t know exactly were the power is coming in at anymore. I havnt done much to my truck in a couple years now. I ve always thought about ddp 4's and I made a deal on a set. Ill get them in, the three peice manifold (ported and coated) and get my 50 mm gate added then go find a dyno. I expect 600 or more on just fuel, (no meth) and hopefully get to 660-670, then I can see 700 or more with the meth flowing.
