D25's and headlight alignment

I cant believe Im even askin this, but i suppose it saves some time messin around in the rain.
I put onthe 25 coils about a year ago. Up until recently, I never drove the truck.
Now when im on my way out inthe early dark hours, or home at night dark hours, the head lights just plain suck.
has anyone else who put on these coils had to lower there beam on the lights, or should i just put in those silverstarrs, or any oter recommended bulbs
Thanks

I have the D25's and have not adjusted the headlight yet. Been on the "to-do" list for 2 years. I ran a pair of the Silverstars and was less then impressed for the money. I went back to the stockers that I took out when the first Silverstar burned out.

Anything that messes with the truck's geometry will screw with the headlight adjustment even a heavy load in the back.
Find a wall that has at least 40 feet of level ground in front of it. Pull straight up to the wall, turn on the low beams and mark two Xs in the center of the beam. Back up 25 ft, the hot spot of the beam should be about 2" to the right and two inches down from the X.
