Cut delivery valves
i think a good machine shop would have no problem cutting a set of DV's. they are very, very hard, and i have no idea how they would lazer cut a set. the big question is how much to cut them. i have looked at 2 set of cut DV's. both were under cut about the same under the head. but it does not take much of a cut to make a big differance

Delivery valves are located in the delivery valve holder. With that being no help to you, the delivery valve holder is what the injection line connects to on the pump (P-pump trucks only). The valve is held down by a spring in the DV holder. When the pump cam pushes the plunger up in the barrel in the pump, the barrel pressure overcomes the spring seat pressure that holds the DV down. The DV is pushed open and fuel is permitted to enter the injection line. Cut valves allow more flow to enter the line when the DV is opened. There is a delivery valve for each injection line. Hope this helps. SS
