say I was to build a 5 inch exhaust from elbows and pieces available from the cummins dealer, what would I need? like 1 45, 2 90s, etc?

If you mean to go over the axle, then yes that is what i used from a local big truck shop is 2 45s and a 90.

3 45s, 1 90 for the over the axle section, the downpipe will need to be more like 2 70s. the rest straight.

I see you have a body lift, so you might be able to get away with 45s for the downpipe, but you will still need a flange that connects with the v-band clamp to the back of the turbo. how much is it for the exhaust piping from cummins?

not sure yet, if I can get all the pieces it will probably be cheaper than buying a kit and having it shipped here.
whats a good truck muffler to give me a deep mellow tone?

I used a 3 ft. piece of flexpipe for my downpipe.

haha for me i really appreciat the low deep rumble of NO muffler! but it is loud. Having out the back will help tons for in the cab noise. MBPR mufflers are nice idk of many others though.
