Maybe the pump is going out now that the wire is tapped?I hear they can go right after that.What is your fuel pressure?

 

DD When I first tapped my pump wire I noticed the same thing you are. The power didn't seem to be there. Are you seeing higher egt,s?? If not your VP-44 is probably weak whitch was the case with mine. I tried 2 other comps then changed pump. You'll notice a difference on 5X5 when you have the fuel. Thanks Steve B.

 

fuel presure seems ok,14 idle and 11-12 cruising but i can get it to go down to,7-8 wot.im looking at a fuel pump kit from b-d.when i turn the comp off,fuel presure is the same at idle and cruising but when i step onit it doesnt go as low or as fast as when the comp is on.throttle response is good,and like i said before after 15-20 psi boost she launches pretty good,ive turned the comp off till i get the fuel pump kit,i can also see quite abit more boost with the comp on and egts go up very fast,im pretty happy with the comp,i got it for a good deal used.thanx for all the responses.
