Comp box w/ HO pump question
I just bought a 2001 HO 6 speed with a comp box already installed with the pump wire tapped. If i remember correctly from previous trucks doesn't the comp box effect the HO pump differently when tapped? and is there a preference between the HO pumps compared to the stock ones or are they pretty much the same?

The so responds more to the comp with wire than the ho. The ho responds better to injectors over the so. If the ho pump ever fails, put on a so pump and have the ECM reflashed to a 5 speed with so tune.
