cold weather and edge comp ???

I sent my drag comp in to get checked out and got an comp back, called edge, they then cross shipped me a drag comp with a new harness.

My question is anybody having problems with the cold weather and the drag?
The comp they sent me was doing the same thing would not turn on if it got cold overnight, so thats why they sent me a new harness with the drag.

mine will not turn on if it gets into the low 40's over night. soon as the cab is warm and the box is warm it works fine all day. I've checked the connections and all is good. edge is kinda lost on this. Anybody else had this problem.
thanks 6wheeler

well i am not having the same problem but i had a similar problem with a boat one time. We had an peace of gear wired up and when it got cold out it wouldnt turn on and we even sent it back and replaced it.. What it ended up being was one of the power wires i guess had a bad connection where there was moisture getting into it and when the moisture froze up on the connector it caused resistance and the thing wouldnt have enough power to operate.. But none the less this is what we think was the final problem to it all but we ended up buying a different brand and it worked after we installed it.. but we used a different power source.

I'm having the exact same problem with my normal Edge Comp. Should I send this thing in or what?

Have had that problem for a couple years now. Once the heater starts working it will turn on.

Mine didn't this morning. I had the heater on full blast all the way into work and it never turned on. I'll check on the drive home, it was freezing this morning and has been around 50 degrees today.

The buttons/membrane gets stiff and mine you cant change the settings till the cab warms warms up. Been that way since the day I bought it.
