what is the best cold air intake for the money. i have always liked airaid but this is the first diesel i've had and i have been looking at a S&B intake. what does eveyone think

 

I just installed an S&B and I really like it. My EGT's are really low now (<500* @ 65-70 mph cruise) and the engine seems to run much quieter at higher rpm's. I posted a thread with pics on another site. I don't think they'll allow me to post a link here, so PM me and I'll share the link with you.

 

I installed the S&B and it's okay. I like that it draws its' air from the stock hole in the side and not the engine compartment.

Thought about opening it up a bit more by poking a hole through the bottom of the box and through the fender, then laying a piece of oiled foam across the bottom of the box.

 

I got the Quadzilla MAI and like it pretty well.

 

I love my AFE! It's kinda pricey but I would never switch

 

i have an AFE stage two and without the silencer rings all i can hear is that sweet whistle. I would never trade for another. But i recomend getting prefilter so you dont have to clean it that much

 

i have scottyII and sounds pretty good, not as loud as everyone said it would though. it was real easy to install too

 

I am in the process of building a CIA for mine, Can have some pictures up later if your interested, Ad removed site violation I am using an Amsoil Cone filter. Flows better than a K&N and doesnt need oil like an AFE. Cheaper too.
