coaltrain???? Any good???????

I was on an other site and a lot of people are running coaltrain injectors and had good things to say about them. Has anyone around here ran them? I know F1 mach and DDP are the top two choices but these don't cost as much and seem to be good. I wonder if their quality is between jammers and F1 or if they are closer to F1 on quality. Someone else cuts their tips (not sure who) then they assemble and test them in house. Any info or thought?? Thanks!!!

Come over to the dyno day in Longview March 7th. There will be a few of us that run Coaltrains there! That way you can see for yourself what you think about them. I was skeptical at first as well, and saving my money for F1s. Got 150s from Coaltrain for half the price, and they run clean and cool. Great power too!

I haven't asked Richard who cuts them. I think that would be rude of me. But, I believe I heard a while back that one company does all of the EDM'ing for a handful of injector builders.

I understand that, I would think that info should be give tho. If your paying x amount for something then you should know how it's put together or made jmo. Unless there is some thing that they don't want us to know. But I guess I can live without knowing. I went to their site and I don't know if my phone/computer is messed up or if it's the site but I couldn't see or find any prices. Could you pm me a price break down for 150's and up to ever how big they make them? Thanks for your time and info.

Uh, you could probably ask Richard anything, and he would tell ya! He told me the whole process that MY injectors went through when they were being built. Very informative and step by step. I just didn't ask about who cut the tips. I can tell you this, the Quality control is extremely strict on their injectors. They have matched flows and pop pressures on a tighter tolerance than stock, and this can be seen in how little the injectors smoke, and how smooth they run. My truck was VERY quite after install. They are only two men, Richard and Mark, so if it comes out of there, one of them made it, no body to point fingers around at. They also strength test every tip before using it. Sorry for the book, but you seem on the fence. I was too, but am extremely satisfied.

Did you go to coaltraindiesel.net? Thats where the prices are. They can make custom runs besides what you see there.

yes that is the site I went to. It must be a problem on my side of things. I can't see any injector size or price. I have not heard anything bad about them yet so they must be pretty good. Has anyone dynoed them to see if the advertised hp makes it to the ground? And does anyone have prices, I would like to know price before I call. Thanks
