Cluthc Fan How much HP.
A clutch fan is about as efficient as you can get. Alot of "car guys" always seem to take off "that old stock fan" and swap in a ricky racer fixed blade chrome fan, talk about robbing power, that will do it.
Of course no fan is most efficient.

I've read reports that going to an electric fan clutch vs. the one we have now will gain like 15-20 to the wheels. Now, if you can justify $600 with 15-20 extra horses, then it's worth it. We put an electric fan on my buddies gasser and it helped the mileage and power.
I have been fanless for 1.5 years and like it alot, it warms up faster, is quieter, and has never gotten hot. I plan on installing an electric fan with a toggle just for big city driving..just my .002
Fully locked up, which rarely happens with the OEM fan, it draws 25-30HP (27HP dyno proven HP). On average I would say the fan is drawing 12-15HP.
I have also run fanless which can easily be done in the cooler climates. I know a few guys who have removed the clutch fan and run with cheapo electric fans who don't have problems while towing or in city traffic. If you tow heavier, over 10k, live in a pretty hot climate, and/or have an auto tranny you might want to consider a couple electric fans.
