Centrimatic balancers

Well soon I am gonna have to get some new rubbers and thinking if Centrimatic balancers would be a good investment. Lately my old tires started getting a little out of balance and I added about 20oz of antifreeze in all tires and dang that seemed to work pretty good. Seems like that would be just like using the Centrimatics and a lot cheaper. Maybe let 'em balance the new tires dry, then add the antifreeze just to help keep 'em in balance. Any thoughts ??? Maybe even put a full quart in each tire, would that be crazy ?

If my memory serves me right BigBlue has a set of the Centrimatic balancers and says they work great. Talk to him.

20 oz sounds like wayyyy to much per tire. you should only need 4-5 oz per tire. better let the boys know before they break the bead on your old rubber that they are filled with anitfreeze or that Wont be happy. The balancer are a much better choice IMHO.

You may or may not need the spacers in order to clear the front calipers and so that they don't touch the wheel (stock wheel). Just tell them to throw in the spacers just in case.

I have Centrimatics on my Kenworth, work great, but have a hard time justifying the price on a pickup truck especially when balance beads do exactly the same thing for a fraction of the cost.

Advantage on a semi is the lug patterns are all the same, you can take the Centrimatics with you when you sell. You'd be lucky to have this happen on a pickup.

I just put a set of 35's on my truck and was wondering about them. I think the most weight I had was 7 oz's on one and less on the rest, but I want the to last a long time and wear well and quietly. I remember reading about the centrametalics a while back and it seems their claims are longer tread life and quiter for the life of the tire. Anybody know the ballpark price on set of them?

I have a set of them on my truck, they were on it when I bought it, so I really can't say what the before/ after is like, but I can tell you that both sets of 37's I have put on there have been the smoothest riding Intercos I have ever seen, and Interco isn't known for ride quality

Yep, Pro Comp Xterrain.

Out of town and only have my work computer. I don't have my other pictures on my personal computer. This is another one in my photo gallery.
