CD Player Installation Questions

I recentley tried to install a Kenwood deck in my 2001.5, I'm not sure if it has the Infinity sound system although it does have the A Pillar tweeters. I hooked everything up it had power, but no sound, any suggestions?
Thanks

Jared

It is incorporated into one of the plugs that plugged into your factory deck.

stereo adapter plug

Did you buy a stereo adapter plug? It plugs from the rear of a new stereo and into the existing plug of the vehicle. It makes stereo installs easier. If the plug and new stereo are in working order, it should work.

hey if you havent got it yet.... i work at a stereo shop and we see this pretty regularly. Like one of the guys above said.. On the black connector that plugs into the factory side there should be a blue wire. Coming out of the back of the radio there should be a blue or blue with white stripe wire. If it has blue/white connect this one this is the amp turn on wire and everything should work correctly. Make sure you have good ground too. Any questions feel free to ask... hope i could help
