Bushwacker Pocket Cut Outs On!
Bushwacker Pocket Cut Outs On!
I just updated my website with a pic of my truck, which now has the new Bushwacker Pocket Cut Out flares if anyone is interested.

Re:Bushwacker Pocket Cut Outs On!
I think they are stainless steel not chrome. I spent a good deal of time test fitting and sanding the edges on them to make sure they fit good before having them painted. You really need to do this for a good fit.
You could always get longer bolts for the pockets and drill holes in your new truck
if wanted to use them for real.

Re:Bushwacker Pocket Cut Outs On!
I am not that particular...they are covered in mud most of the time anyway...I just think if anyone is considering this they should make the round holes slotted so they can adjust them better and test fit them like you did...makes a BIG difference. Sure looks cool though... ;D ;D
Re:Bushwacker Pocket Cut Outs On!
Man Dude, that is one great looking truck. Looks like you are a real detail freak, I'm sure your console will turn out "better than factory", as evidenced by your other work. I like the badge on top of the fender.
Re:Bushwacker Pocket Cut Outs On!
Thanks everyone for the compliments! ;D
I'm not all the detail oriented actually, I live in the country on a dirt road so it just isn't practical. I already have a scratch on the fender where I took the "C" Cummins logo off and I just scratched my bumper lightly backing into a railing at work. Oh, and I just destroyed my passenger side mirror on a narrow bridge. >
($300 - $350 to replace!
). If my truck is lucky it will get washed every 2 -3 weeks and waxed once a year.
I'm more into added functionality than pure asthetics, but I generally believe form follows function and try for something that looks good while doing it's job.
I'm jazzed about the console, it should be pretty slick when finished.
