Braking up on the top end
Braking up on the top end
So with the new injectors the old 35 makes 38lbs of boost and when it gets up into the top it king of brakes up like a v-8 gas thats in need of some points. When its up in that range it still has 8psi or more fuel pressure. What could it be
If you have a leak in the fuel system it would suck air and cause the break-up. It will also do it if you have too much timing.
My truck was doing it bad and I couldnt figure it out for the life of me. But it would only do it with the Edge box on. (I had a Juice w/att at the time) Come to find out the previous owner had a Superchips and it was still loaded on the truck... so I was stacking two timing boxes and that was causing the break-up on the top end.
I was releaved because I thought there was something wrong with the Juice and was getting upset with Edge! FYI, bigger injectors will magnify the problem also!
