once a day, really bad front end shake while braking

Hey everyone, so a few days ago my truck started this really bad shake when braking for a red light/stop sign. But, then for the next stop sign, my truck is smooth. It happens once a day now, everyday...maybe three times. I don't think it is brakes or calipers or rotors. It has to be something else.

Any ideas? When the shake does happen, it feels like it is going to to throw the ladder off my ladder rack and into the ditch 15' away. It's pretty bad.

Never hurts to just lube the slide anyway. Calipers rarely sieze, its the slide that rusts in place. And maybe you'll see that nice blue sheen on the rotors that tells you its been getting way too hot.

There is a rubber boot that goes around the piston in the caliper. If these get holes in them it causes the rust to form between the pistons and the brake bore. For the cost of calipers I would just buy the set. Will cost you about $40 for both of them off.

If it's a warped rotor replace them or re-mill it.
