I think most programers do boost fooling, I may be wrong. I would go to the Superchips website and see if they have any info.

I know EDGE and Smarty do also. But I dont know how many others do. With chip and sticks it'd prob be a good thing to have.

Do the key trick and check for codes. It may be unrelated to the programmer of boost.

If you're going to run bigger injectors you might as well get something that does boost fooling and get a j-hook for your turbo. I don't think overboost codes will cause a CEL.

Its a hook that latches onto the waste gate to keep it closed longer instead of opening at the stock 20-21 lbs mark.
there are a few brankd out there here is one.. http://www.xtremediesel.com/bullydogj-hook182555.aspx

Or you could always put a turn buckle on it. It'll do the same thing. Just be careful you dont tighten it too tight at first. Dont go over 30 lbs with our hy-35 turbo just to stay safe.
Tighten a little, run around the block and test, tighten test etc etc.

Superchips does not do boost fooling but here is my story. I had a 3715??? SC, a BD boost fooler and J hook. Everything worked great, no codes and 26psi of boost. My fooler went out and started throwing codes so I took it off(fooler). I reset my codes with my SC and it never threw an overboost even though I was hitting 26psi so no, you don't need a fooler....at least I didn't.

Yes, you need some kind of boost fooler to exceed 20 or so psi.

Either built into a box or standalone, the factory ECM is trying to defuel right now.

You might look into an EZ or small Quad box if you don't want a bunch of power, but you will get the boost fooling and a small kick in mileage from the added timing.

I agree, Edge EZ or small quad. Gotta say I love my J/A though. The EZ just gave me the power bug and only held me over for a year brfore I had to have more haha.

I see in your sig, BenR, it says.. superchips for now.. here's your chance to upgrade
