So is this correct... the BD boost "builder" is a boost fooler, fueling for more boost, and does it trick the computer to allow over 20psi or just fuel to get to 20psi faster? If so, does it go well with the new wastegate or is it worth just waiting to do a turbo? By the way I will be putting an edge comp on in a few days (fuel and timing only right?) Well there's a lot of questions, BD's site isn't very helpful.

 

I see now, unless it's getting too hot, I don't need the fooler, but a new wastegate or boost elbow will raise the pressure and help give some power (if there's more fuel to burn right?)

 

Edge comp has a boost fooler built in.

The BD Boost Fooler is only an electronic gadget that fools the ECM into thinking it's not at max boost, unless you do something to the turbo wastegate it will still open up at 19-20 psi regardless of what the ECM thinks.
