boost elbow/mbc

With jammer III's can I get away with using my boost elbow or will I need a manual boost controller?

You should be able to get away with using your boost elbow but personally, I'd rather be able to set my own boost. Thus why I have a manual boost controller.

While we're on the subject can someone explain the difference between an adjustable boost elbow and a MBC?
