Just curious about what to do with the wastegate to supply more boost. I have heard people say to turnbuckle the wastegate. More info on this would be helpful. I have also heard that a manual boost controller would be a good way to go. Again more info welcome. Finally, going with an aftermarket wastegate like a banks. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

For the 2004 model? Is it a 555 or the 600? The 555 is a mechanical wastegate and all is needed is an adjustable boost elbow, about $20 on ebay.
The 600's are electronic.

My engine is the 305 hp, so im pretty sure that its not the 600.

 

Then the adjustable boost elbow will work. But you might also need a boost fooler or a performance box with boost fooling to keep the ECM from defueling and setting the overboost code.
