Hey guys I know that an edge ez is supposed to come with a boost elbow but since I bought mine used, it did not come with it so is that what this is?

The descriptions says for a 12 valve so I am confused. If this is not what it is then what is a boost elbow for a 24 valve and should I get one? What does it do? I wanna make my truck smoke more!!!! I wish I could afford a tranny now. I hate the bombing bug!

Will a BHAF give me anymore smoke?

 

That's the one.
It will work on a 24V also.

On a 12V, you can just install the boost elbow.

On a 24V you have to install a boost fooler to prevent de-fueling and setting codes. The EZ adds power, and acts as a boost fooler. So do the higher HP boxes like the Edge COMP.

BHAF will give you less smoke. Injectors will give more smoke, so will the Higher HP baxes. You will get some smoke from the EZ.

BTW, without extra fuel, the boost elbow isn't really doing anything for you except for making more backpressure, and running your turbo harder. Adding extra fuel will recquire the extra air the boost elbow can give you.

 

I have an ez and it barely makes any smoke. Will the boost elbow help me at all or should I just not worry about it? I will try to get a pic of my truck smoking but it's not much. I have the pin set all the way to the right on my ez with stock injectors and I think this is the most aggressive setting but I'll play with it and see if I can get more smoke on different settings. I wish I could get bigger injectors but I know my tranny will not hold. Just waiting to get enough money for the tranny.
