blue smoke????

ok i live in az right now for schooling i no that blue smoke means oil, but what i dont no is why my truck is blowin it cuz i try my hardest to stay on top of every thing with this truck n it kills me to see somethin like that happen when it nothing should go wrong. idk i was just wondering if any body could give me a clue on were to start lookin at thank u

there could be a couple things to look at. post up your year and miles etc. any new items. or mechanical work. could be injectors, could be seals in the turbo. is it eating oil. losing oil etc. is it just on start up. at idle or when you drive. on hard parts could be rings/piston. you can take apart the tube from your turbo see if oil is leaking. post up more info.

1995 dodge cummins 5.9 3500 dually only thing that ive done to it since i got it was put straight exausaust with stack n a k&n cold air intake on it um miles r about 198,600 i also have a fuel leak im lookin into just found it today my radiator is leaking a lil bit not to sure were from n im in a trade school U.T.I for all this but i dont have the money ***** tight right now if u no what i mean. only other thing i can think of is i no i need valve cover gaskets n im not to sure but i think i eiather have a few injectors leaking or fuel lines but cant tell

oh n i check the oil every day befor i start it but have not seen the oil level go down at all

That blue smoke is fuel blue. these old 12 valves have been known to have a little blue smoke on cold start up. If it's all stock having your timing checked and bumped up a bit should clear it up. Or if it's all the time there is a chance your timing has slipped.
