For the record, I swapped my APPS to a good one, and it now has much better manners other than the fact that my 33" AT's cant hold the power above 3k rpms unless im in 6th, sometimes 5th if there is zero moisture on the roads.

How does it compare to what boxes your were running before? How much harder does it pull above 3000 rpm? Other than extending the rpms, do you feel like you have more fuel up top?

The actual peak numbers may be a little lower than the TST, but the TST ramped the fuel in very hard and fast down low. The redline seems to bring it a lil more gradually and not as violent but at around 3,200rpms the truck will almost lunge forward as I was used to it actually starting to nose off there and just pulls, and by pulls I mean full power...none of that 3500rpms smarty/tst stuff where my 570hp truck still has a lil over 400hp at 3500...

When i broke the 6th gear synchro, I ran around for 3 months with a "5" spd no OD...and the truck would make it to about 100mph max in 5th gear then it was out of RPM/power.

I have yet to use the redline at full power in 6th gear because running it out in 5th gear to just over 3900 rpms had me puckered up at 115mph and I let off. I can't wait to pull with this box.

I wanna keep it shiny side up tho!

I really try to keep it low key now, daily driving, you would not even know my truck is modified because it doesn't smoke at all if I drive normal.

TJ, I take it you took care of your valve float problem then? You gonna be pulling at the Buck again this year? I always enjoy watching your truck pull. All these other guys spew all kinds of black smoke down the track, but yours is clean as a whistle and usually beats those other guys.
