Chrome wheels on a black truck, but that's just my opinion.

i like both personally. when it comes time to replace the bed and fix the other rust spots i'm tempted to black out my truck. its so much easier to clean. i like dark colors with chrome and light colors with black, or dark colors with black.... i dunno...... heres my truck.

Well my truck is the exact opposite of the yours, but here's some pics.

Also try looking at Diesel Power's website. they recently did a write up on a black 2nd gen w/black rims. It looked really good.

on my truck you will see my grill I got tired of a black chipped grill I got a replacement black hard plastic one on ebay has been great and was cheaper than paint.

If you dont clean black rims for a year, they still look good. Chrome, not so much.

true plus that means I'm going green and what I save on water waste I make up for with soot waste.

Aluminum.

The wheels looked like this when new but after a few winters of driving in the salt made them ugly. They are uncoated, no clear coat, so a quick spray with etching aluminum wheel cleaner followed by a rinse of water cleaned them up real good. They have a nice dull look to them now like in the picture above.
