Bigger Single Turbo (to be used in twins later)

I'm looking at adding some f1 injectors (either Mach 2 or Mach 3, maybe even Mach 4) and a bigger single to what I've got in there now.

Eventually I'd like to do twins, reusing this turbo as either the top or bottom.

What would you suggest?

What about the injectors, are Mach 4's going to be too much? Most I usually tow is a jeep on 18ft bumper pull, maybe a 24' gooseneck w/ two jeeps max. (However, I am in Denver 5280ft.) Other than that it is my daily driver

Would you suggest another route?

I'm running a 64/71/0.80 (BD Special) with 140ish hp injectors and love it. Spools real quick for its size (Had a 62 on before that didn't seem this quick), keeps everything relatively cool. I don't tow with it, but if you can keep the RPM's above 1700, I don't see much issue with it. Only real downside to this turbo is it would need a good sized primary when you go to twins. Not that that is an overly bad thing.

For injectors, I'd go for the 4's. You go small and you will kick yourself later.

Will I need o rings and head studs for the mach 4's?

Will that 62/71/14 be a good single for a little while with the mach 4's?

Where can I get the 62/71/14?

What will I have to get done to install this on my truck? Is it just a bolt into place from the hx35 I have now?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am really getting excited!!!!!

O-rings aren't required, but you never know what your headgasket is like. I ran a Silver Bullet with the DDP comp injectors on stock gasket and bolts and it held. Others will pop with bigger injectors on stock turbo. Luck of the draw. I personally wouldn't worry about M4's on the stock gasket though.

The 62 will be good for the 150 hp injectors. You can get one from II, HTT, ED, and a host of other vendors. For install, only thing extra you will need besides gaskets is a downpipe with an HX40 flange, about $200 from most places. Its all a bolt in affair.

correct me if im wrong but i thought that if your runing over at or over 40psi of boost its rec to do head studs. and im sure a 62/71/14 will hit 40psi at ease with mach 4's.

Reccomended is different than absolutely required. I ran 43 psi on my stock Hx35. I was running 45 psi on my 62mm. I'm now running 45psi on my 64mm. I ran my 66mm at 50 psi on my 24v. All on stock head bolts and gaskets. Not saying it won't blow out on another truck, since each truck reacts differently. But I wouldn't be overly concerned.

Yup I'm on stock bolts and gasket as well. I see 45+psi, no issues. Just make sure shes warm and don't hold it there all day.

I'd go with a 62/71/14 or 13ss, it would be real nice top turbo in a set of twins.

I have been running on the stock headgasket and harden steel head bolts for over a year and seen 50-60psi often and 70-75psi recently. I always keep boost below 10 psi till thermistat opens.
