BHAF question
have had mine on for 7 years now with the heat sheild that i fabd. before the bhaf everytime i changed the oil filter and inspected the turbo blades, they were allways covered in gunk, after the bhaf its allways clean.https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...n&onlynewfaq=1
just make sure to cover the ac line with rubber hose or it will rub thru.

Also if you decide to run the BHAF, make sure the posts for the stock box don't rub a hole in your new filter or you will suck dirt in a while before noticing it!
Didn't happen to me but someone around here posted up that it happened to him..
If you really want a heat shiled get a piece of cardboard about 18" square and bend it into place and outline where everything is, then cut out a shield using this as a temp.

but if you get the BHAF then you can't do the hole in the fire wall trick?!... not sure if yall saw that mod.. but they say something about positive air pressure at the cowl and by punching a hole in the firewall and running a tube from the stock box to the hole is like having force induction..... I don't buy it, but hey to each their own
You can still cut the hole in the cowl. I'll try to remember to take a pic and post it. I use an Amsoil 4050 now, before that was a Scotty II and before that was the BHAF.
