put my nice new BHAF on today, i posted pics in my gallery, i used a wix 46637, cost $28 at bumper to bumper. the neat thing was i printed the heat shield template out and brought it to my friend, he said he could slice one out for me tonight!!!

so tomorrow is the gages and the heat shield install.

nice price, they musta wondered wht the heck that filter was for .... now you know they are gonna want a ride in it, decline but do a drive by romp so they can hear what its all about

its 4" a nice pice of 4" exhaust tubing, 2 1/2" long works nicely. i went to the local truck dealer and he gave me a piece of scrap 4" for free. i cut it to length and de-burred it inside and out, i took some silicone and put it on the tube where the filter goes in and drilled in three sheet metal screws to hold it. the neck is stiff and slanted and didnt look like a clamp was going to do it, all total the job from start to finish was about twenty min. today i made a heat shield and installed it, works awesome! i will post pics of it too.
