I've installed M1's in a bunch of trucks for people and they loved them but they do cost twice as much as 275s. I put a set of 1.2s in my neighbor's 2001 3500 with an EZ and he towed heavy with no issues and loved the combo. His truck also had a 1900 pound Dew-Eze bed on it that was fully optioned. He put a hurting on a lot of trucks that just had a box and thought they had something. And this guy regularly hauled 20 to 22 round bales all the time. The truck was also getting 18 mpg out on the highway even with all the weight he was packing.

Those M1s look really nice but that's kinda hard to justify when you can get most of the performance for less than half the cost. I'll probably wait on injectors till I've gotten everything else done. The BHAF is already on and the Airdog is on the way, just need to wait for a few more paychecks and I'll pick up the XZT+. I've been having so much fun driving the truck around and playing with it that my celica is getting neglected in the garage.

If money didn't matter, would an adrenaline be better than an XZT+?

Better for what? For all out HP, yes. For just a little kick in the pants and maybe a little more mpg, the XZT+ is all you need.

I should have been more clear. I'm looking to do something similar to what this original poster does, but think I would like to get an adrenaline for when I do decide to make more HP.

So I guess I was asking, without price being a factor on the box, can the adrenaline get the same mpg gains as the XZT+ on whatever the best setting for mpg is?
