BD twins

Anybody out there running a set of BD twins? I've seen them in the Jeg's catalog for like 3k, seems like a decent deal.

Any thoughts?

they will only support 450 ish rwhp. I run the top turbo and it spools really nice. There has been a couple good threads on this already if you do a search

I am not sure where this 'they will only support 450 RWHP' came from, but I am not sure why this is so. THe devices seem sized well, although I have not heard detail about exhaust housing sizes on the bottom turbo. Certainly the top turbo seems perfect. Perhaps the bottom turbo is small..... Since there are alot of guys making over 450 HP with a single, and not even that big of one really, I find this statment curious.... I can imagine them not being capable of considerably more power...

The 450 rwhp is pretty close to accurate. The top turbo is in fact a really good 400 hp turbo. But the bottom turbo is imho sized too small. In fact it uses the same compressor wheel that many aftermarket singles are running. That being said I have seen one of these kits on a truck and it is super sharp. But I wouldn't spend the money unless your going to be happy with ~500hp because thats all your going to be able to reasonably support

just my opinion though

BD claims 350- 500 hp with their set up. I believe the whole point of their system is to keep the power streetable and geared more towards towing applications, which is what I would want.
500hp should be enough for just about anyone who runs their rig daily
Now if I could only figure out how to run twins while at the same time retaining the use of my Pacbrake.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo... you can never have enough horsepower. Except when there's an inch of ice on the ground. Then anything over 5hp is worthless. Seriously, you'll always want more horsepower.
