BD Special B Issues?

Well I just had two BD Special B (64/71/14) turbos go down both with different issues! I want to know if any of you guys have any experience with these turbos and if you've had any issues. The 1st turbo they said was lack of oiling and the second one they say my EGT's were to hot, both no warranty. I dont see how either is possible as I have good oil pressure and my max EGT's were only about 1500deg. Also the second turbo failed with no issues of oiling and no changes were made between turbo swaps. Opinions guys?

What were the symptoms of the turbos when they failed? Did the second one have a visible damage from heat?

On the 2nd turbo I was told that there was damge to the turbine housing and that the wastegate actuator looked like it had changed color. This to me does sound like a lot of heat however my exaust manifold is made of the same ductile iron correct? It has no damage. Also there is no piston/engine damage either. If my EGT's were that hot (my gauge says they werent) I should have holes in the pistons shouldnt I? On the 1st turbo they say it had no oil in it which is not possible as I had good oil pressure and changed nothing between the two turbo swaps. Also I had no issues with either of the two turbos I used before the Special B's. I changed to the Special B as an upgrade as I used to run a regular Super B and the stocker before that.

My actual symptoms were the compressor wheels contacting the compressor housings on both turbos.
