Exclamation Battery size / type

OK Some retard broke into my truck and Stoll both of my truck batteries last night. So I’m looking for two new ones. However Napa have asked what type do I want, I assume that there is a special type for a 1995 Cummins ?
Does anyone have a part number or can recommend a good one ??

Cheers

When I needed new batteries in my 02 I did research in consumers Reports. One of the best values for my truck was a MAXX I purchased and had installed at Walmart. Think they were about 80 bucks apiece in Oct of 2010. So far the have been excellent. The batteries also have the date of manufacture.

i guess i went the other direction i got two optima yellow top batteries they are more expensive but they are great would buy them again they are great for cold starts in the winter but it might get colder up here then where you live so you might not need the extra cranking power. oh i think they were $180 apiece. sorry about getting your batteries stolen thats the wierdest thing i have ever heard.

Napa has the spiral cell AGMs similar to the Optimas, and they work equally well. If I remember right they were about $140 and change per battery.

I bought one oddessy- supposed to be 2200 cca's- and I paid around $200 bucks because it was supposed to replace two with ONE. NOPE!!! When it got cold, it's nuts shrunk right up- they did replace it tho, so it is now half price I wanted to delete the battery that gets in the way when you change your oil filter.
