List your tires - Type, Size, How you like them
Like the title says, I'm looking to get an idea of what the most commonly run brands and types of tires are being run, as well as sizes, and what you thought of them. If you've gotten alot of mileage out of them list that also. Thanks!
Well, I can't tell you much about how I will end up liking them, but so far they are great!
I recently put new tires on my dually, I got Goodyear Wrangler AT/D2 235/85/R16s. They fill out the wheel wells so much better than the previous tiny 225/75/R16s did (bought the truck with them on there).
Truck rides nicer, corners smoother and looks 100% better!

From: My head lays down in Murrieta, but the day light hours are spent in San Diego, Ca.
In till this past weekend, I was running 35 12.50 17 ProComp X-Terrians. They seemed ok when newer, but they just didn't wear very good. I don't know, maybe it was just me. Now I have my stock wheels with 285 75 16 Kumho Ventura A/T's (i think they're called). These I do like. These have worn very well, have a smooth ride and track well. If I keep the stock 16" wheels, I'm gonna get Nitto 315's. If I don't sell my 17" Raceline's and keep them, I'll either go with 35" S.S. Vortrac or Hankook DynaPro MT RT03.
285/75/16 Mickey Thompson MTZ, no complaints so far, about 9K on them and they are about 1/2 life. Typical mud tire noise but with the 500 Watt stereo and muffler delete I don't notice it.

BFG Rugged Trail 265/70R17 -factory upgrade.
20K on them, seem to wear ok. Probably upgrade around this time next year to a 285??x17. I will be putting a LORENZ 5100 system on my truck between now and then.
The Rugged Trails did ok in the snow. With 4wd engaged, that is.

nitto terra grapplers 295-70-17's
i'm not impressed with them at all..... not good on anything but dry pavement... i guess the milage is just what a lot of all terrains claim.... i have about 32,000 on them and i need new ones..... really bad!!!

33/12.50/17 Dick Cepek FCII's. The best tire I have ever ran. About 10k on them and really not much wear yet. The very best tire I have ever had in the snow and mud. The cost in my opinion is worth it. I ram BFG all terrains and were a fair tire, but no comparison to these. I have pics in the gallery.
285/75/16 Cooper Discover S/T
About 20k on em, wearing great. Several friends have run em with great success on 3/4 tons and I decided to give them a shot. I've been happy with them so far.

315/70/R16 Cooper Discoverer S/TT. I absolutely love them, look great, ride awesome especially considering the size and more aggressive tread pattern. They grip real well on the gravel roads I'm on daily... handle mud with ease. I'll get to see how they do in snow/ice in a few months, but from what most people say about them they do really well in snow. Can't say anything on milage yet, I haven't put 1k miles on them yet... but they've handled half a dozen burnouts or so showing very little wear. My milage is in the 14.5 to 15 mpg range, but I have a heavy right foot and love to hear the sound of my stacks so...
