Banks Innercooler leak

A buddy took the cooler out of his 91 d250 because it has a leak. He had it presure tested. He doesn't plan on replaceing it because he doesn't tow anything. His dad put it in when it was his truck.

Can it be fixed ? like they fix radiators.

Is it worth having it fixed?

Will it fit only a 1st gen?

Whats it worth if it's fixable? he wouldn't mind a lttle $$ out of it.

Any Interest anybody?

Depending on where the leak is I don't see why it couldnt be fixed. I fixed an AC condenser with just JB weld and that sees something like 300psi. And why does he want to take it out? It's doing nothing more than giving him power and helping his engine run better.

He already took it out when he discovered it had a leak via a presure test. His dad owned the truck & towed an rv with it & bought the innercooler for it. This guy just use the truck for a daily driver & seems to be happy with the power & mileage it gets in stock form.
