Automatic tranny performance questions from a manual guy.
My friend has a 98.5 CTD 4x4. His mods are 100hp DD3's, Adrenaline, Hybrid 40/35, BHAF. He has done the upgraded valvebody, Torque converter, but He is doing more towing lately & the tranny still has stock clutches. He wants to build the tranny bulletproof & needs a source for clutches or complete rebuild kit. Any recommendations?

He has rebuilt a few automatics, but I have been elected to help him with the build. Does anyone have or can lead me to a full parts breakdown, rebuild book for this transmission? I'd like to read up on it before attack as I do with everything. My friend really wanted to trade for a manual tranny, but can't find a donor truck locally.
