Anyone Tint your own Windows??
Depends on how dark you get it. I didn't notice much difference by going to 20% on the backs. It just gave me an excuse to get brighter back up lights.
It does help a good amount with keeping the interior cooler'ish than without it. I remember when I first got mine put on I could drive around without sunglasses on it made such a difference. Tinting is also nice when there are other things going on in the truck.

My FIL spent about $100 in film and supplies, and tried it himself. Emphasis on tried. He said about 30 words that would get the modertors attention here, wadded it all up, and then paid another $100 to get his windows done.
I'd been wanting to do this to my truck since I got it (Almost 5 years now
)
I aim to get a sputtered/hybred film that is machine cut to get the best all around quality/performance. Lifetime warranty is the way to go, as long as you have an established installer perform the service.

They have precut products for $30 - 50 but I'd rather pay somone to do it. Its worth your while to do some reasearch before you go shopping.

Well the overwhelming response for pelling and bubles also a few more than allowed f bombs getting dropped during the install I lelieve Ill try to spend my money once.

I've got 2.5% on my back windows. It's a PITA to see out at night. I do have to say though out of all the tint jobs I've done for myself and friends I've never had a complaint or problem. The big thing is to get the window very clean and keep it clean while putting the tint on. I've always used a rubber Squeegee (spelling) to work out the water and air bubbles. Start from the middle and work it out. After I get it smooth and a majority of the water out I use a heat gun on it.
