Anyone dyno a combo like this?

Just installed my dd3 inj. a large difference from 275 rv's in smoke and power. I know you cant stack Hp #'s for add ons but was wondering if I was in the 325 hp range? What would the torque be roughly? My egts definately move higher and fuel press drops more [down to 9 psi at wot] than before. There are no dynos for diesels in my area. Thanks for any info. Tim

Re:Anyone dyno a combo like this?

I'm trying to work it in right now. It is 600 miles each way and Im getting married the following weekend. Been trying to get in all my bombing before than. Still trying to figure if I need the 4" exhaust with dd3's. EGT is up to 1250 unloaded in 65f outside temps. I would love to go if for nothing else than to meet everyone and b.s. about our trucks. Will let yall know Tim

Weigh your truck. Go to a 1/4 mile drag strip and run the **** out of it. At www.prestage.com the is a car math section. Use your ET and weight. My 1/4 and dyno #'s have always been close.

The 4" would probably help some. A scotty II would probably help more than the BHAF.

A 4'" exhaust will not help you any. Spend your money on an EZ or Comp box first. A used EZ will be much cheaper and provide a much larger power increase than any 4" system you could buy.

Re:Anyone dyno a combo like this?

I already have an ez, waiting till I get closer to 100k miles to get the comp. I am not looking to gain any power w/4" exhaust just lower my egt's. They are fine empty but if I tow they may get to hot. My fuel press at wot now drops to 7, is this a problem for a few seconds? These injectors put out a nice cloud of smoke when you want them to. I'd bet you're pretty close. With DD3's, an EZ and an HX-40 with the auto mine did 333.

When I said a 4" would help some, I was talking about EGT's. Not power. Although, it did add a little to mine when I was bone stock (right down to the air filter). Maybe 5 to the wheels if that. Enough to beat up on a couple of stock PSD's that used to beat up on me.

But ETC's respond better to fueling boxes as was true in my case - did 490 with my FMS on.
