I like driving fast and would like to upgrade my brake system on my truck. I've seen a few kits that supplies the rotor but I'm looking to upgrade the caliper system as well. Just a side thought, can the 3rd gen brakes system be put onto a 2nd gen truck. I've done done this to cars as its a cheap upgrade and works. Just need to fabricate and adjust things.

 

Yes, I believe there is a thread here that outlines putting third gen brakes on a second gen. https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...ghlight=brakes - looks like the caliper is the same so there probably wouldnt be the big improvement you are looking for.
