Question Which plant builds what?

Does the STLouis plant build only long box trucks, or are both plants geared for all models?(ie. long, short, mega, regular,etc...) Just curious!

My 06 was built in St.Louis, 2500 4x4 Laramie Quad Cab short bed. Just wish they would ship it, still in storage in St Louie.

I think DC shifted production around with the introduction of the Mega Cab. HD LWB trucks are made in Mexico and SWB in St. Louis.

I'm very happy with the fit & finish of my '03 across-the-border truck.

It sounds like they build short and long boxes, 4X4 and 2X4, etc. at both plants. I think I received some information anout the Mega-cab being built at the Mexico plant? I love my truck, but in '03 my brother and I noticed some really small differences between his(ST Louis) and mine. Mine was missing some small details.
