Another Question On Stacking

Not knowing anything about the electronics and what they do, other than change when I push buttons. How would it work out stacking the new Smarty with my Comp Drag Version? I already have the Comp and resale value on them doesn't make them worth selling, but I want one of these new Smarty's. So give me the good and bad.

From what I understand you will have to use the programes that don't add timming. Boxes like the Drag Comp, Comp and EZ add timming.

There are some post on this already do a search and you will find them.

If I understand that thread right, and you lose your so to speak shift on the fly, I think I like the Comp better. I have come to rely on this shift on the fly for my normal driving. I use it as a passing gear, hill climbing power and more, adjusting as needed going down the road. Would still like to have the Smarty, but not at the cost of giving up this ability.

One of the benefits of the Smarty is the programming settings that allow you to use your drag comp with it. So you determine which smarty program works best with your setup/ driving style and you leave it there- then you still have the adjustablility of the comp.

Hopefully some beta testers will post dyno #'s one of these days. I know there's been a lot of testing being done recently. And yes I know that Smarty's more for drivability and responsiveness, but I'd still like to see some #'s

The Smarty is for cleaning out the de-tuning. Once it is installed and set-up on the program, you don't need or want to change it. Just add your favorite tuning box with it if you need or want more power. Many of us find it is very good with out a box. That is until the bug bites again.

The smarty has 9 different variations of the origanal catcher software. Some have timing added and others are timing free,

There is a nice software for added mpg and there is a valet software too.

As other combination come to light all will be free to download over marco's internet site vis ubs cable.

I hope this helps

So the Smarty will compliment the Comp and not just make one of them a useless gadget to cause problems then?
