Another HP/Mod Question

Sorry, I know this has been beat to death, but a buddy of mine wants to get an idea of how much horsepower he has, since he can't dyno it for a couple more months. He has an 02 QC SB Cummins with the 6-speed. He's got a SB Con-OFE clutch, DDP's biggest injectors (250 hp I think), Phat Shaft 66, FASS 150 system, and an Edge Comp box. My guess was between 400-425. What do you guys think?

Also, I'm trying to talk him into some different electronics. I'm thinking that the TST PM3 stacked with an EZ or a Smarty should probably get him to 500. Am I wrong in my thinking? Would he be better off to go with a Redline Box with an EZ or Smarty? Thanks again.

Eric

He is probably pushing well over 400 my guess is that he is around the 525-550 hp mark. Those 250's are amazing I have the 150's and they are B.A. I know now that I am well over the 500 mark!!

Is he still running the HO pump? If so, he's probably starting to run dry. Upgrade to the SO pump or an HRVP, and he should be making some real good power. Dodge Diesel did 570 with M4's, 62/71/13 an a Comp I believe. He's also running an SO pump. With 250hp injectors and a 66mm turbo, he should be getting up to the 600 range I'd think, with an SO pump.

I believe he has the HO pump on there still. I think he's waiting for it to fail and then put a new one on at that time. Would he be better off to go with the SO or an HRVP? I like the ones from Industial, so maybe I can talk him into it, if you guys think that'd be a better route.

I had a HRVP from II, I would not do it again. It seems when you start getting into the higher HP, any benifits the HRVP had disappear, and if you get a pump like mine, it has a bunch of draw backs. IMO, go with the SO pump.
